Factors affecting the service life of cartridge filter element

The main application equipment of the large flow water filter element is the security filter, so it is also called the security filter element.  In order to improve filtration efficiency, save filtration cost, and prolong the service life of large flow filter elements, it has become a concern of enterprises today.

 The intuitive phenomenon of improving the service life of the large flow filter element used in the filtration industry is to avoid frequent replacement of the filter element in the security filter, and reducing the replacement frequency of the security filter element is the key.

 The way to reduce the frequency of replacing large flow filter elements mainly includes three aspects:

 1. First of all, ensure that the filtered water source is fixed, and the water source will not be affected or changed, so as to prevent serious pollution of the filtered water source, increase the filtration burden of the large-flow filter element, and affect its use;

 2. The quality of the large-flow water filter element itself must be excellent, and its material and quality can be guaranteed. The high-quality security filter element has good filtering effect and long filtering life;

 3. Ensure that all parts of the filtration equipment are in a relatively good operating state, prevent other parts from having quality problems or poor connection, and use appropriate auxiliary agents, such as flocculants and coagulants, during the filtration process  , scale inhibitors, etc., are filtered according to the prescribed operating procedures and operating methods, there by improving filtration efficiency and reducing loss of large-flow filter elements.

In the replacement of large flow filter, we must first take out the old filter used before, and replace the gasket with a new one, pay attention to the gasket is up and down two, and pay special attention to the installation of the new security filter.

When the replacement of the filter element in the security filter is completed, remember to clean the air in it, so as to avoid the accident of leaving the air in use, which will affect the filtration effect of the filter element.
